Food allergies are a commonly overlooked condition in healthcare practice and also within the science and practice of nutrition, this webinar and its associated journal club look at a case based approach of the management of different food allergies and nutritional atopic diseases, discussing the scientific basis and also current diagnostic techniques, including biomarkers.
Each webinar is followed by a dedicated Journal Club where selected papers from associated wider literature are presented and discussed in more detail.
The webinars and journal clubs are held in partnership with the International Academy of Nutrition Educators as well as the BMJ Nutrition Prevention and Health.

Meet the instructor
Dr Kaninika Basu
Dr Kaninika is a Medical Doctor at Cambridge University Hospitals, a Post-doctoral researcher with a special interest and considerable expertise in food allergy, including aspects of nutritional immunology as well as a Senior Member of the NNEdPro Collaborators Network and Member of the NNEdPro Nutrition and Covid-19 Taskforce.
