WEBINAR series

Promoting physical activity and healthy diets for healthy ageing

Webinar recorded in November 2024.

Life expectancy has increased in the last years, however there is still a big gap between life expectancy and healthy years of life as people age. Living longer does not mean much if people are not enjoying healthy lives. Many older adults are currently suffering from complications of chronic degenerative diseases that could have been prevented or delayed by adopting a healthy and active lifestyle. Healthy eating and physical are two allies that support older adults to be more independent and autonomous and to enjoy happier and healthier lives.

The IANE webinars are held in partnership with the BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health and are accredited by the Royal Society of Biology for 9 CPD credits.
